At CCDOK, we could not do the work we do without their support. Whether it is behind the scenes or having direct contact with someone in need, our volunteers send a powerful message to the person being helped:
You are worthy, You are valuable, and God loves You.
We are proud to introduce some of the dedicated members of the CCDOK Volunteer Team:
Ellie Clark
I retired from Ameritech/AT&T in 1994 after 31 years of service. I took a couple of years off to be with my two daughters who were in high school at the time. I decided to get a part-time job and was hired at Catholic Family Services/CCDOK on March 1997 and worked there until February 2018. I've been busy helping with my grandchildren all these years; they have kept me busy with sports and any other activities they were involved in.
I enjoy volunteering at the Caring Network. From my experience working at CCDOK, I know what they have done, and do for pregnant women and women in need. I hope that I can make a difference in helping out wherever needed. It gives me a sense of pride knowing that my talents are being used to assist this great charity.

Darlene Froelke
I retired over ten years ago and with time on my hands decided to do some volunteer work. I started out at the gift shop at Bronson in Paw Paw, Michigan. I found I enjoyed helping where I could, so I added Loaves and Fishes food pantry. The most rewarding of all was taking my therapy dog to nursing homes and assisted living sites. I signed up with Catholic Charities after Covid and have enjoyed my time working with the terrific staff there ever since.
Darlene is a Caring Network Support volunteer.
